Some friends of ours asked me to take some pictures of them and their family a few weeks back, I was more than happy to and thought I'd share a some of the results from the shoot on here...

What a lovely, photogenic family - they made my job easy!

Summer craft fair.

(On one of the warmer days last week I sat out in the garden sorting out my knitwear products ready for the fair.)

So this was my second bearwood craft fair. The last one I did was in December and with it having been such a success I was uncertain what to expect at the summer one. Unlike at Christmas, there was not a particular reason for people to be in the spending mood.... well obviously some people don't NEED a reason to spend. :)
It was a very lovely day, organised brilliantly by the very talented crafty muthas... and to top it off i managed to sell a fair bit too. My newly printed greeting cards being probably the most popular (particular with the older ladies. :)

(That's my table in the front left hand corner.)
Above are a selection of my knitted cowls... two of which were purchased by these lovely ladies.. don't they look fab?

A selection of my prints mounted & wrapped...

The hall was decorated with cut up vintage fabric... very pretty & effective.

I'm so happy to have been apart of it and to have a stall alongside so many other lovely, talented ladies (& a few gents!).

Thanks for having me Crafty Muthas! x

A stroll in the countryside

Whilst camping in Devon with my sister and her family a few weeks back, we took a stroll into the beautiful countryside surroundings. It was a warm, sunny morning so we ambled along, picking wild flowers and soaking up nature and all it's beauty...
What a perfect picture opportunity.

This is surely english countryside at its best.

Postcard from Greece.

Just a few snapshots from our holiday time at my parents house in Parthenonas, Halkidiki. It really is a special place, it was also where we were married so extra special for us in that sense.

{You may have seen some of these if you follow my instagram feed...}

We had a couple of nights staying at the hotel where we got married which was a real treat. I posted a little about it on my old blog here.

(and finally homeward bound...)

Always hard to leave that place.
We had a marvellous time let's hope that's not the only sunshine we will be getting this summer. Come on Blighty! :)

(Photos all taken on my phone, edited using afterlight editing app.)
